“Home Is Where The Poet Lives” by Mitch Hicks

Home is where the poet lives

Snapped in MKG with Poem by Mitch Hicks for National Poetry Day

Home is where the poet lives

finding a home for art in ones life

is like finding a voice for the soul

poets scribble for they never sleep

image divides taste from sweet to sour

sculpture clings on edges sometimes raw

paint drips into your eyes

the devil dances merry with spoken word

woven cloth weaves worn out skin

music unlike next of kin

Inspired from the Andrew Lord Exhibition MKG
