The Winslow Man

The Winslow Man

Snapped & Poem by Mitch Hicks

The Winslow Man

Curiosity as I saw this man sweeping leaves

Ivy clad walls on red clay bricks

His life lines etched his weathered face

Hair white gold skin leathery

Calmness with speech from up north

Not Winslow born yet local in this rural vale

I never asked his name nor he mine

Two strangers past in conversation

Yet I stole that time he unaware

A twin now made for you to share
