Oooh la la thru the window!

I made this collage using three snaps I took…. Two featured the artwork of the charming engaging French artist Laurence Cammas. The third snap was taken outside the Make Space Studios…. Laurence kindly sat by the window so I could snap her next to the sexy Oooh la la artwork she painted inside her studio.  Her oriental portrait painting looking thru the window was snapped from the corridor as I looked back into the artists doorway on my way out!  The next day I blended and cropped the images to make what you now see…..  It was a great pleasure to hear from Laurence by email that she has posted this image onto her Instagram.  https://preprod.instagram.com/laurence_cms/

Another by chance discovery… I was on my way to visit Christie’s auction house to see the upcoming sale of artwork by Stik.  I noticed this unlikely mural painted in posh Kensington by Jony Midnight from June 2015.  Not untill I got home from a busy day traveling around London exploring art in Kensington, Croydon, Forest Hill and Homerton did I find out that Francis Bacon lived in this expensive mews. I also noticed that the orignal mural did not have the figure of Francis Bacon featured at all… So who added the monochrome Francis Bacon….. Has Banksy been up to his old tricks?

I spent a week in Nepal and was quite taken back with the poverty and hardships the people endure in their country. But even more surprised on how happy they were with so little. They are truly very proud of their homeland and traditions.

Alo1

From Street Artist to Saatchi Gallery. The very first time I saw Alo on the walls of East London… I was blown away with the colour and design! I’m so pleased the Italian artist is about to make one hell of a splash into the artyfarty art world. I very much hope thou that Alo will still paint on the streets and not just sell out to canvas in galleries. http://www.saatchistore.com/74-alo?

I’m walking down Clerkenwell Road.

What is the soup of the day?

Maybe lots of clerks eat here? Eerrr well..

Flaming hell secret hand shakes and spying going on!

Do you think he is Tony?… I see he like to write on things.

There must be endless famous people around here.

Soup of the day in a room of hungry looks.

I bet David Robilliard never ate here.

If you want to try soup of the day….

Keep tomorrow free!
