Oooh la la thru the window!

I made this collage using three snaps I took…. Two featured the artwork of the charming engaging French artist Laurence Cammas. The third snap was taken outside the Make Space Studios…. Laurence kindly sat by the window so I could snap her next to the sexy Oooh la la artwork she painted inside her studio.  Her oriental portrait painting looking thru the window was snapped from the corridor as I looked back into the artists doorway on my way out!  The next day I blended and cropped the images to make what you now see…..  It was a great pleasure to hear from Laurence by email that she has posted this image onto her Instagram.  https://preprod.instagram.com/laurence_cms/

Work in progress from street artist Trafik along Pedley Street, off Brick Lane. Looks like this is going to be a real a stunner… Nice guy Trafik, he gave me a chocolate as I was snapping him with roller in hand painting the white squares.

I made this collage snap using two snaps  I took in London. One was taken in the Nomadic Community Gardens around a bonfire, the other snap was of artwork by Otto Schade stenciled onto a wall… Looking back on the photos taken during that day, I just had to blend them as the colours were vibrating out just burning to rise up like a phoenix.

Enjoy your hot cross buns folks!!!

Elvis the pelvis is still hip it seems in East London. This highly clever x-ray style artwork, hand painted with spray cans by the brilliant street artist Shok-1. You can find this on the outside metal gates of the old Truman Brewery yard on Hanbury Street,  just off Brick Lane… Maybe the best street art I have seen in London so far this year!
